AnimeJapan 2015 held the second charity auction since 2014, to assist 2011 earthquake and tsunami recovery along with other support projects. We displayed some of the intriguing rare items provided by our exhibiters and cooperators.
Charity Auction: Final Report
This is a final report to announce the total amount of donation for the Charity Auction.
Thanks to the generous supports from many audiences, our overall gain is \4,996,909 .
The charity, under the name of AnimeJapan Executive Committee, is donated to the Japanese Red Cross 3.11
disaster recovery fund.
For those who supported our charity, the Executive Committee and the Secretariat are truly grateful with
your kindness.
Item on Display: The Right to Visit 2D World
This year, AnimeJapan Executive Committee decided to display “the Right to Visit 2D World.”
It is a right to enable the winning bidder going 2D world. A long-awaited dream is now realized in
AnimeJapan.
For this auction, we have illustrations of Mobile Suit Gundam and Star Blazers 2199.
We will ask the winning bidders for their photo, portrait them in the illustration, and send it to them.
NOTE:
- We will ask winning bidders to send us his/her photo, so we can portrait them on the illustration. We
will request the one that has similar composition with the illustration.
- We will not accept any requests to change the contents of the illustration.
- The completion of the work may take longer than our original schedule.
- The illustration is planned to be size A3.

- The bidder will be asked to choose one position out of 5 seats in the illustration.

- In the illustration, the bidder will be dressed in a costume of one of the characters whose position
he/she chose. [Combat Officer (Kodai), Navigator (Shima, Ota), Technical Officer (Sanada), Operations

- Even if the bidder chose a position in which a character of opposite gender is placed, he/she will be in
the uniform of their own gender type.

Item on Display: The Right Portrait Yourself

We will present a bidder the “right to illustrate him/herself with a popular anime character.”
For this illustration, we have “Chibi Maruko-chan.” After the festival, the bidder will receive the
picture in which he/she is together with Maru-chan.
NOTE:
- The bidder will be illustrated in a silhouette on the picture. The scenery is set in the world of Chibi
Maruko-chan.
- We will not accept any inquiries and requests on the illustration.
- The completion of the work may take longer than our original schedule.
- The illustration is planned to be size A3.
