Content Japanese anime nowadays are expanding its popularity, as the number of anime conventions and their scales suggest.
There is also a growing expectation that anime must promote its business through such ways as video streaming and increasing anime channels.
This seminar is hosted by the organizer of Anime EXPO, one of the largest conventions from the North America, and the world’s anime-related business professionals invited by JETRO. They will discuss the appeal of Japanese anime as well as its future business.
※ Project Anime is a league of conventions from all over the world. It was founded in March 2011 in purpose of sharing their knowledge for more effective management and inviting guests from each other.

Director Goro Miyazaki who tried his first 3DCG for TV anime and Hideki Moriya from the production company Polygon Pictures will be the presenters. They will talk about the story behind the scenes from planning to on air, as well as the future of the 3DCG animation on TV.

Content There is an increasing number of pirated editions of anime nowadays. Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry called for Anti-Piracy Countermeasure Council, assembly of publishers and anime-related companies. In March 2014, they announced Manga-Anime Guardians (MAG) Project in AnimeJapan. In this conference, members of the MAG PROJECT including Kazuhiko Torishima (Shueisha), Koichiro Natsume (Aniplex), along with their supporter Rena Matsui (SKE48), will show up on stage to review their works in the past year and guide you to their future projects.
